Round House

Kaci and I have been waiting patiently for the day we would be able to feel the baby kick from the outside. She has been been feeling him kick her bladder around for a while but nothing could be felt from outside. Last night as I was falling asleep Kaci started saying my name aggressively. I instantly woke up thinking something must be on fire. But to my surprise she just wanted me to be able to feel my son kick for the first time. Like a little mini ninja he was in there doing battle with Kaci’s kidneys. It’s still hard to imagine that he’s moving and growing in there but I do know he has mean round house kick.
If there is one thing I know for sure about the arrival of my son… It’s that he needs to be rocking these vans slip-ons. How else will he beat up all the kids with Crocs on?
It seems like most kids are not into what their parents are. So if I like design, wakeskating, surfing and snowboarding what does that mean for my son. My guess is reading, taking tests and doing homework. I guess I should be thankful.
