Lil Ariza Monster

Daniel took a long lunch with me Friday and we headed to Lake Eola for a picnic in the park. Then we headed over to the swings. Elijah loved them this time.

It has been beautiful here in Orlando. Elijah has been going to Lake Eola a lot. Monday we met up with a bunch of friends to hang out and on Tuesday we met up with Anna and Audrey for lunch. If this is just a preview of how fun the summer is going to be, I can’t wait.

We’ve had a super eventful month. Here’s what has been going on.

Trip to Colorado. Lots of snowboarding, sledding, and snuggling.

I am now a full time stay at home mama. Elijah is very happy with the full attention he is getting. He is having lots of play days with lil buddies.

Elijah is trying solid foods for the first time. Started with the rice cereal which he was not a big fan of and moved on to pureed carrots next. He seems like he might be a fan of carrots and apples right now. We know we can take sweet potatoes off the list

He is growing so much and is so strong. He really is becoming a lil boy. I can’t believe he is already 21 weeks (almost 5 months). He is trying hard to crawl already. He gets up on all fours and sways back and forth. And he is a pro at scooting backwards. Days of putting him on he floor and being able to leave the room for a second are over. He is fighting to crawl and I would bet it won’t be long before he is cruising all around the house. (Videos to come)

He has been such an amazing baby. It is like he woke up one more and things were so much easier. He can grab toys and play really well now. He is the happy baby boy i’ve been hoping for. Not to mention he’s probably the cutest baby ever, but of course I’m not biased.

I’m really looking forward to the summer time. Many lake days and beach days ahead of us!!
