my very first mother’s day
Monday, May 11th, 2009Mother’s Day was one for the record books. Daniel really went above and beyond to make my first one a very memorable one. Here’s a breakdown of the day.
After getting to sleep through the night (thank you Elijah for my Mother’s Day gift) I got up and did my morning routine with Elijah. While I was playing with Elijah, Daniel made me an amazing breakfast. I had requested Huevos Rancheros. It was the best breakfast I have ever had, no joke.
After breakfast we headed over to see BaBa and PaPa at the lake house. It was a bright sunny day so we decide to finally get Elijah in the water. He was a bit apprehensive at first but then he went crazy splashing.
Once our wonderful day at the lake house was over we came home to have some chicken fajitas with Abuelo, Grandma and Uncle Tim. We finished off the rest of the rancheros sauce which was AMAZING!
Thank you Daniel for an amazing Mother’s Day. I’ve definitely got my work cut out for me for Father’s Day.
