A great Father

Sunday, June 28th, 2009

We had a great Father’s day. A wonderful, relaxing day.

Thank you Daniel for being such an amazing Father to our son. I feel so blessed that he has such a awesome dad to look up to and to raise him.

Elijah now has 4 teeth coming in. The first one (top left) showed up on June 20 and the rest showed up the day after. I didn’t even notice the bottom 2 coming until a couple of my friends came over for a pool day. When I showed them the top 2 teeth Melissa said that the bottom 2 were coming in too. He’s handling it super well. Not too fussy. I think he is hurting a bit though cause he isn’t eating so well. But I’m sure it will pass.

This is the best picture I could get. He won’t let us mess with his mouth so we turned him upside down. He always smiles and laughs when we do that so we knew we could get a picture of the top.

Daniel taught Elijah how to high five.

It is pretty much the coolest thing ever.

It has been way too long since my last update. Lately i’ve been having a hard time finding any time at all to do much of anything.

Elijah is on the go. The second he got crawling down he was ready for the next best thing, which of course is walking. He is into everything now and he’s got me on my toes. Seems the boy wants to do things before his body is ready.

Uncle Kyle, Aunt Wendy, Kali and Will came into town. We had a great time with them. We had a beach day, went out to the lake and we even went to Sea World. Elijah was wonderful. We got the annual pass so now we can go whenever we want.

So pretty much things are going great. I am really enjoying being able to devote all my time to Elijah. It is an exhausting job, but more fulfilling than any job I’ve ever had. God has truly blessed me with an amazing son and a loving, supportive husband.
